Spring Greetings from Portland State University. Although the deadline to apply to most U.S. colleges has come and gone, it's not too late for your students to apply to PSU for the Fall 2019 term. If you are still looking for an innovative university in the heart of a major city, please apply!
We make the application process simple. This means:
Guaranteed admission for applicants with a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA
No SAT/ACT required for international students
No essay or recommendation letters required
If an applicant completes the full IB diploma with a score of 30, we offer:
Guaranteed admission
One full year of university credit
An International Achievement Scholarship
Waiver of our TOEFL/IELTS/PTE requirement
International applicants are still eligible for our International Achievement Scholarship, a merit-based tuition remission award for up to $4,500 a year. No separate application is required—all students who apply to PSU are automatically considered. Other scholarship money (up to $8,000) may be available for talented students.
